Sheila Flaherty, is an award winning, international, figurative, hyperrealist artist based in Dublin, Ireland. She has exhibited at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2023 and she was awarded an honourable mention for her painting “Choices” by the Almenara Art Prize.Her contributions extend beyond the studio, with publications like "American Art Collector" and features in "The LEONARDO Art Guide" and “Beautiful Bizarre Magazine” as part of their online community showcasing her talent.Flaherty's artistic practice is complemented by her academic background. She completed her Graphic Design B.A. at Limerick School of Art and Design from 2001 to 2006 and later pursued a P.G.H.Dip in Art and Education at the National College of Art and Design from 2010 to 2011. Her work deals with themes of determination, resilience and courage.
