Rubén Fernández Pereira is a Spanish artist specialized in hyperrealistic drawings. Although he had a strong interest in sketching from an early age, he did not really commit to it until 2022, when he began using the hyperrealism approach for the first time. He started receiving instruction from his mentor, the renowned German artist Dirk Dzimirsky, in 2023. In 2024, he started his professional career as an artist and joined the D.R.A.M.A. (Dzimirsky Realism Art Master Academy) as an instructor. In 2024 he received recognitions in art contest; "Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize", "BoldBrush Painting Competition" and "ModPortrait".In his drawings, he likes to explore how light and shadow interact to add dramatic effect to each composition. Since hyperrealistic drawing relies heavily on details, he purposefully draws attention to the complex details that are illuminated in order to create a focal point in each picture.The main characteristics of the work is the emotional expressiveness of the subjects and the deliberate selection of compositional elements, all intended to craft narrative portraits.
