Bar Harbor artist Robert Pollien paints the coastal landscape of Mount Desert Island and also creates work related to his fascination with crows. Pollien earned his M.F.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and attended the Skowhegan School. He has been the Artist in Residence at Acadia National Park, was awarded a Maine Arts Commission Individual Artist Fellowship in painting and has been a Carina House Resident on Monhegan Island. His work is in numerous public and private collections.
