I have been making art for more than 45 years. I operated a print shop and publishing firm for 25 years and fell in love with black and white and highlight those colors in most of my work. I currently create almost every day in Michigan farm country. My neighbors across the street are five horses. I paint in my small home, on just about every surface I find available.I try to reuse portions of failed endeavors in my mixed media and note cards. I also try to use pieces for personalized packaging. I "reuse" nature the same way: A bird becomes a flower; a flower becomes a pot, a pot becomes a mountain. The trees, flowers and weeds around me are my inspiration. My house is a gallery of my art the exhibit of which changes at my whim. I am a volunteer at the Lansing Art Gallery.I have exhibited at Northville Art Gallery and Woman Made Gallery (Chicago).
