Mina Naderi was born in 1966 in Tehran. She has studied literature and graduated with a Master of Cultural Management. She learned painting under renowned teachers and has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Iran and outside, namely solo exhibitions in Homa, Golestan, Iranian Artists Forum, Seyhoun galleries, La Cite in Paris, etc. Mina has published articles on artistic subjects in some creditable Iranian publications. She has also managed galleries and curated exhibitions. After attending various groups and societies, she has focused on her career and is now painting in her studio.Initially, her works involved drawing, colors, and gilding, classifying them as neo-traditional. She gradually approached abstract expressionism in her later works, leading to a unique personal style that cannot be classified. A romantic approach can be seen in Mina’s recent work, guiding the viewer’s attention from representation to a sensual reaction. These works use abstract landscapes and pure volumes to present a kind of aesthetic that reduces realism in favor of romantic sentimentality, free of day-to-day struggles. Eventually, the romantic atmosphere _ the poetry of lines, colors, space, forms, and texture _ leads to the defeat of reason and inspires the emotional response of its viewer. Her style is characterized by the harmony of colors, where colors dominate drawing and volume. Here, the artist takes another step to avoid stylistic approaches and challenges the modern structures.
