In 45 years in the publishing industry as designer, illustrator and art director, Bill Farr has worked for Penguin Books, Time Magazine and Fairfax Media. He was Art Director of The Age from 1994 to 2012, where he won two Walkley Awards and three Melbourne Press Club Quill Awards. He is an accomplished writer, with columns and features appearing in The Age and Good Weekend. In 2019 he wrote JUDY • AUSTRALIA • 1964, a musical drama which premièred at Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre.
