Bess Napanangka Poulson was born in 1972 and comes from a family of artists; her mother is Mary Anne Nampijinpa Michaels and her sister is Portia Napanangka Michaels, are well-known Warlukurlangu artists. Bess began painting with the Warlukurlangu Artists in 2009. She uses a vibrant and unrestricted palette to create a modern interpretation of traditional Dreaming stories passed down from her family, developing a unique and compelling visual language. Selected Group Exhibitions: Bess has participated in numerous group exhibitions organized by Warlukurlangu Artists, showcasing her work alongside other prominent artists from her community.
