Margaret Nangala Gallagher was born in 1967. She is the daughter of the well-known artist Pauline Napangardi Gallagher, who started painting with Warlukurlangu Artists in 2005. Margaret began painting with Warlukurlangu Artists in 2007, finding immense joy in working alongside her mother and sharing their Jukurrpa (Dreaming) stories. Her art primarily focuses on Yankirri Jukurrpa (Emu Dreaming), a narrative passed down through generations from her father's family.
