Hongil Yoon is from Seoul, South Korea, and currently based in London, United Kingdom. He aims to deliver the feeling of isolation, evaluation and loss of identity in the ambiguity of memory that he senses in the digital culture. In his practice, the composition of space shows the metaphor for the uncertainty of the memory caused by the digital age. He had the solo exhibition The Blair Witch Project in Glasgow, UK. Also, he participated in various group exhibitions mainly in the UK. In addition, he attained the J D Kelly Memorial Prize for the best first year in Fine Art by The Glasgow School of Art. He is currently studying for a Master of Fine Arts, Arts and Humanities, at Royal College of Art in London. He graduated BA Fine Art in Painting and Printmaking at The Glasgow School of Art in 2024.
