A self taught artist,Jess grew up in the impoverished farm lands of the American Midwest, where nature and artwere invaluable outlets for creativity. Since then, Jess has made a home in the Boston area, becoming influenced by the city’scultural diversity and architecture. Her process involves photographing landscapes and subjectsfor reference which are then reimagined into acrylic paintings that reacquaint the viewer with asense of wonder.
