Sébastien Boko is a Beninese contemporary artist born in 1984 in Zogbodomey, Benin. Drawing from his cultural heritage and the African Gélèdè culture, Boko's artistic practice explores themes of identity, power, and the human condition through semi-figurative and abstract sculptures. Incorporating symbolism and mixed media elements, Boko's work challenges viewers to confront life's complexities, inviting introspection and self-reflection.
