Taeyang Hong is always digging into the society and humans or our universe. In his work, he views humanity as still fighting a thoughtless struggle with LGBT, racism, nationalism, capitalism, socialism, and religion. Even in this short life, a single human is always arguing about war or aversion while there are still so many poor and sick people. His work is questioning where we are from? Why are we here? What do we do and what he needs to do. In his series, Taeyang Hong is telling us that a city is dominating the landscape, leaving the scarce behind and going back to a handful of dirt. The series demonstrates that we are a tiny thing in this universe, and that we can not control anything but being in peace.
