ARTIST STATEMENTThese sculptures are combinations of old toys, theme park figures, and yard ornaments. They suggest a carefree past surrounded by friendly creatures, which comes from yearning for something ineffable. The objects come from the human-built environment, with all of the strangeness, affection and idiosyncrasy that we bring to it.
