Jane Marinsky has been creating art since the first picked up a pencil as a young child. Since then she has studied painting, graphic design, and illustration at the University of Buffalo, the University of Rochester, and Syracuse University. She has been a freelance graphic designer locally and a freelance editorial illustrator for national magazines and newspapers. Her two children's books, “The Goat-Faced Girl” and “Just Perfect” were published by David R. Godine Publisher. For 16 years she ran the illustration program at Daemen. She has been included in many group shows and had numerous solo shows of her work.
