I am an American Artist best known for creating large paintings in an Abstract style which is loose and intuitive. Growing up in the country has inspired my work through elements of nature, flowers, fields, gardens, and landscapes. I am an Intuitive Abstract Painter, working with Acrylics, Oils, Collage, and Mixed Media. I create multi-layered paintings full of color, texture, and patterns using all sorts of tools to create this effect including sanding to reveal many layers. My work reflects my emotions and feelings. I get lost in my work with no real plan for how it will end up, creating a loose and playful painting. I’m influenced by other artists’ works and try to encourage and support other artists when I can. We are all unique and each artist brings their personal style to their work. I paint simply because it brings me Joy, with the intent to bring others Joy by beautifying their homes and offices. And this brings me…Pure Joy!
