I rediscovered my love of abstract art by drawing from my background in architecture and product design. I'm an LA-based artist, and I see my practice as a form of meditation—a way to slip into stillness and listen inward. When I’m creating, I’m less focused on the final result and more interested in what unfolds in the moment. That approach shows up in the materials and surfaces I use—repurposed objects and thrifted frames layered with mixed media. My choices are intentional but open-ended, always leaving space for the unexpected. Informed by my training in design, my visual language thrives on contrast: brightness against darkness, textured beside smoothness, chaos held by structure, vintage mixed with contemporary. These opposites reflect the layered experience of being—curious, contradictory, human.
