Lynn Wilson lives in Door County and since childhood she has been fascinated by textiles. This fascination and love of textiles continued into a career in the apparel industry.Lynn's creative work is embroidered textiles not just because she loves the repetition of stitch, but because stitching is meditation. Working with fabrics, colors, patterns and stitch is immersive and focusing for her. Much of what she stitches is inspired by nature. She notices patterns of our landscape in each piece. Whether using found and repurposed fabrics and threads, or through the process of dyeing, piecing and stitching, she interprets nature through the stitches of her hand.
