Daun Jeong (b.1987) studied painting at Dongduk Women’s University in Seoul, but soonexpanded her practice beyond traditional media by developing a distinctive method she callsFabricDrawing . In her work, pieces of fabric replace brushstrokes, extending beyond thecanvas into immersive, site-specific installations. She has presented her works at museums, art fairs, and international projects, including amajor installation at the SAN Museum designed by Tadao Ando, and a permanentcommission for China’s first sovereign wealth fund headquarters in Quanzhou. Her recentcollaborations with Maison Margiela, Santa Maria Novella, and Starbucks Korea highlighther ability to merge contemporary art with fashion, fragrance, and cultural contexts.Jeong’s practice consistently explores how textiles can redefine spatial perception, memory,and light. In 2025 ,She is currently preparing upcoming solo exhibitions, public art projects,museum installations, and international art fairs.
