I paint in order to make sense of the world, to communicate my inner voice, it is truly where my soul flies. My love of nature(my muse) has encouraged me to take a sustainable approach in my art business. I use pigment powders or sometimes create my own pigments from clay, ash and driftwood. I then hand mull these pigments with a natural, non toxic eco oil like walnut oil. The result is a rich, beautiful and high quality oil paint. My work is entirely solvent free, made with nature in mind. It is a much slower process and it has become a sort of meditative process allowing me to deepen my connection and honor my appreciation for nature. I also gladly use this opportunity to SLOW DOWN!
