Rossella Baldecchi is a Pistoiese artist graduated at the Florence Academy of Fine Art. She has always been fascinated by the human figure which is the principal protagonist of the oil painting and of the engravings she creates with the technique of etching. Rossella is a teacher of Design at the Lyceum of Pistoia for over thirty years and she presented many exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In Italy the main exhibitions in prestigious locations and museums were in Milan, Rovereto, Cernobbio, Ferrara, Genoa, Florence, Lucca, Pescia, Grosseto, Fabriano, Gubbio, Sassoferrato, Terni, Naples. Abroad the main exhibitions were in Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Tunisia, Lithuania, United States, Korea, Taiwan, China and Japan. Now Rossella is strongly committed to the defense of Human Rights and violence against women, on 6 august 2019 she exposed in front of A-bomb Dome in Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima during the official celebration for the 70th anniversary of the atomic bombing and in October 2019 she received Peace, Culture and Solidarity Award by the "Centro Studi Donati "in Pistoia.
