Jamison Glisczinski is best known for his whimsical, figurative garden art sculptures made from steel and stoneware. His work in mixed-media art sculpture and other mediums is inspired by and unmask the clandestine beauty of nature as well as human figures. His new body of work is figurative in clay and steel.Currently residing in Appleton, WI. , Jamison is a life long resident of Wisconsin's Fox Valley. Jamison studied fine arts at the University of Wisconsin at both the Oshkosh and Fox Valley campuses. After setting aside his love of creating art for more traditional pursuits, his passion for art only grew stronger. And, in 2017 he was called back to live his dream of being a full time artist. Jamison has been awarded Best in Show at Art in the Park in Oshkosh, WI and his art has been featured in numerous juried exhibitions throughout Wisconsin.
