Rachel Kiser Smith sees the magic in everyday moments. She creates with materials and textures inspired by the crinkle of a paper, the scratch of a bristle brush, or the flutter of birds on the marsh. Whether in abstract, the details of a landscape, or an unexpected juxtaposition of shape and color, her loose, playful work invites you to stop and take notice of hidden delights. Raised among the fields and forests of the Pacific Northwest, Rachel studied visual arts at Brigham Young University. Now she calls Jacksonville, Florida home, where she lives on the marsh with her husband and four children.
