My pieces are true specimens, which I harvest in special locations mostly in the South. They are actual pressed plant material - ferns, vines, blossoms, carnivorous species, aquatic plants, foliage, grasses - as well as seaweed. The specimens are harvested, dried and pressed onto archival paper. As art pieces, they can be featured as a dramatic focal point, grouped or they can compliment existing decor - from modern to traditional … whether oil paintings, mixed media, or sculpture.
