Born in Mexico City, Bernardo Infante Orozco is an artist and founder with a deep passion for fire and crucibles. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Estado de México, but his true calling has always been art and sculpture. From an early age, he was immersed in the world of artistic foundry, thanks to his father, the founder of Fundicion Artistica NELECO, a prestigious workshop with over 50 years of history. Throughout his life, Bernardo has mastered various techniques and creative processes for crafting large-scale sculptures in bronze and aluminum. He has collaborated with renowned artists such as Maria Lagunes, Miguel Peraza, Fray Gabriel Chávez de la Mora, Gustavo Aceves, Claire Beker, Guillermo Ceniceros, Carlos Vivar, and Edgar Cevallos, Julissa Casting Inc. (Puerto Rico) among others. Committed to promoting art and culture, eight years ago, he moved to Houston, Texas, where he established his own atelier, a space dedicated to sculpture and painting. Additionally, he opened a workshop to share his knowledge and continue his family’s legacy, fostering the art of foundry among new generations.
