As a child, I loved to draw and color-horses, flowers-typical little girl stuff. In school, art was my favorite class. Fast forward a few years... in the late 70's, I received a degree in Technical Illustration from Portland Community College in portland, OR. I could draw and make a living working for a steel foundry as a parts list illustrator. A move to Wyoming gave me the opportunity to take art classes at Sheridan College and a class at Wagner's Art Supply taught me traditional stained glass. As they say, the rest is history. For me, light is the main attraction-shining on a landscape or thorugh colored glass. There is a need in me to capture what I feel at that moment and share it with others. Most of my glasswork is focused on "warm glass" (aka fusing) wherin glass is placed in a kiln and heated to stick it together or change it's shape. i also work in watercolor and oil. I hope you enjoy my endeavors.
