Hello, I’m Kelli Campbell, a Sheridan, Wyoming acrylic, watercolor and encaustic artist. I’ve always been drawn to creative activities, but it wasn’t until my children left for college that I began a daily practice of painting. Without any formal art education, I began slowly, enrolling in classes from artists whose work inspired me. I currently find myself drawn to painting florals, birds, wildlife and landscapes…the beauty I see when I actually take a moment to appreciate the world that surrounds me. Painting has given me a new perspective…so many things that I truly never noticed until I tried describing them in a painting. The process of creating a piece of art brings me satisfaction and joy…a joy that I hope is conveyed through the bright colors and beautiful subjects I’ve chosen.
