Gina Brown is a full-time painter whose work is deeply shaped by her faith and gratitude. Long before she took up painting professionally, a verse from scripture stayed with her: “aspire to live a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands.” Over time, that simple message has become a guiding principle in both her life and art. A believer in Jesus Christ, she views painting as a way to work with her hands and share beauty for a purpose beyond herself.Born and raised in Glencoe, Alabama, Brown earned a degree in graphic design and spent several years working as a graphic artist before founding her own advertising agency. In 2009, she made the shift to painting full time, pursuing a lifelong creative calling. Her practice is grounded in thankfulness and a desire to bring others closer to moments of peace, reflection, and faith. Brown is a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society. Her work is represented by Shain Gallery in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Beverly McNeil Gallery in Birmingham, Alabama. She lives in Alabama with her husband, her high school sweetheart, and together they are proud parents and grandparents.
