As an artist, painting and drawing are a metabolic necessity, much like breathing. I envision my work enriching and invigorating my audience with the use of true draftsmanship, strong values and dynamic color which complement a well-developed composition. Through my plein air work, I seek to engage the viewer with the thrill of light and shadow, local color, and the majesty of nature’s design. My works are subject based. I continually look to the landscape, waterscape, and skyscape to provide ever-evolving choices.
