Diane’s work hangs in The Art Students League and many private collections. The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of Arts and Design both have her design work in their permanent collections. "As a child the shelves in my bedroom closet were the place I arranged my carved animals, greeting cards, post cards and trinkets. My mother proudly showed these displays to friends when they visited. When I had my shop, Diane Love on Madison Avenue I created displays of jewelry, decorative objects, silk flowers, fabric, handbags. I love making a composition out of disparate things. The large assemblages that I call paper collage combine my photographs, watercolors, gestural paint strokes, recycled colored papers- a continuation of my childhood fascination. "
