Jennifer Zizman received a BFA from the University of Victoria, Canada, studying painting under Robert Youds and Sandra Meigs. She has participated in numerous shows, and exhibits her work in galleries in Canada and the US. She is both an artist and art educator, promoting creativity. She is based on the West-coast of Canada. Jennifer’s paintings are characterized by tantalizing layers of color and texture inspired by nature, glamour and energy.Ethereal and playful, her artwork illuminates imaginative possibilities, offering the viewer something longed for and intangible.Her intuitive and gestural abstracts, emphasize the power of color, movement and atmospheric depth. She is interested in portraying compositions that shift through mysterious dimensions, evoking memory, connections, feelings; and presenting a rich visceral experience for the viewer.
