Born and raised in Taos, New Mexico, my jewelry journey started at a young age by working summers for my uncle, Goldsmith Phil Poirier. After many years, I found my way back to working in metal while working as a machinist for Bonny Doon Tools. Using this background in machining, die making and hydraulic presses, I created my first line of jewelry in 2010. Since then, I've spent the last 15 years squishing metal, breaking tools, and endlessly experimenting to be able to create the work that I do. My work is influenced by my passion for moving through the mountains, and is a study of textures and patterns found out and about.
