Born in Miles Platting, Manchester, Peter Stanaway is a celebrated figure in the contemporary Northern Art Scene. His evocative works have garnered significant recognition, finding homes in numerous private and public collections. Relocating to Springhead, Oldham, in 1976, the retired art teacher's artistic practice is deeply rooted in the local history and landscape of his surroundings.
