Kaitlyn Niznik holds her MFA degree from Lesley University and her BFA from SUNY New Paltz.She is currently a Crohn's and Colitis Young Adults Network (CCYAN) 2025 Fellow and a middleand high school art teacher. Kaitlyn suffers from a chronic illness and uses her art to spreadawareness for lesser-known diseases and build her own anatomical knowledge. Her artworkhas been featured in The Pathologist magazine and In Vivo, Harvard University's MedicalHumanities magazine. Her work was most recently accepted into Restoring Your Core, a showdedicated to IBD patients, at dnj Gallery in Santa Monica.
