A graduate of the well-respected ceramics program at The School for American Craftsmen at Rochester Institute of Technology, where she completed her Associates degree, Sarah Katz went on to attend the California Institute for the Arts in Oakland, where she obtained her BFA in Sculpture. In addition, she spent a year at Philadelphia College of Art (now called University of the Arts) as an exchange student studying in the sculpture program. Since 1994, Ms. Katz has shown extensively throughout the New York metropolitan area.
