Shareon “Bhare” Blenman is a multidisciplinary artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born to Barbadian immigrant parents, Bhare began his creative journey as a chef before fully transitioning into the art world. His diverse practice spans traditional canvas work, digital oil painting, sculpture, and skateboard design. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Bhare developed his artistic voice during the global lockdown, quickly gaining recognition. By age 23, his work had been exhibited in galleries across North America and Europe. He has since completed major commissions—including a 40-foot piece for the Spectrum Center—and has shown with prestigious galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Copenhagen, and more. His work has also been featured in major publications and sold through Sotheby’s. Bhare’s paintings are deeply personal, drawing from journal reflections and home life to explore themes of identity, emotion, and belonging. Rich in symbolism and layered with bold geometric forms, expressive figures, and free writing, his work captures the complexities of navigating life as a Black, first-generation American. Through a vivid, introspective lens, Bhare offers a visual language for healing, contradiction, and transformation.
