Nasce a Pontedera il 25/11/79, dopo il diploma presso il Liceo Artistico di Lucca nel '98, la sua formazione resta prevalentemente da autodidatta. Nel 2005 si trasferisce a Milano, qui inizia a collaborare con gallerie come pittore e come concept artist per network internazionali pubblicitari. Nel 2009 è invitato da BJCEM alla Biennale d'Europa e del Mediterraneo a Skopje, pubblica e collabora con Le Dictateur e Toilet Paper Magazine. Nel 2011 è incaricato insieme a Pierpaolo Ferrari dal Guggenheim di NY, a disegnare tutte le opere che compongono ALL la retrospettiva di Maurizio Cattelan. Nel 2012 partecipa a ”These Peanuts are Bullets” presso Family Business, lo spazio gestito da Cattelan e Gioni a Chealsea NY e nello stesso anno si trasferisce a Roma. Nel 2013 partecipa a “Un homme juste est quand meme un homme mort” al Palais de Tokyo, Parigi. Nel 2016 torna a vivere nella campagna toscana, dove porta avanti la sua ricerca tra disegno e pittura. Matteo Nuti 1979, Bientina (Pisa)Matteo is a self-taught painter, after many years spent between Milan and Rome, he now lives and works in the Tuscan countryside .
