Oleg Lobykin is a sculptor whose work bridges centuries of craft with contemporary conceptual thinking. Born in St. Petersburg and now based in Silicon Valley, he draws from the long tradition of stone carving while embracing modern technologies and ideas. His sculptures explore the dialogue between the timeless and the emerging, revealing connections between history, culture, and evolving understandings of life.Lobykin’s practice moves fluidly between fine art and architectural restoration, bringing a deep respect for material and form to each project. His work has appeared in public and private commissions internationally, including projects for Stanford University, the Presidio Trust, Yale University, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Cloisters.
