Demetrius Bing (known as Bing) is a self-taught contemporary artist from in Charleston, South Carolina. Over the past three years, Bing has emerged as a dynamic voice in the Lowcountry art scene, exhibiting in numerous shows throughout the region. His work reflects an instinctive and evolving creative process, unbound by formal training and driven by personal exploration. With each new piece, Bing pushes the boundaries of color, texture, and composition—continuously expanding his visual language and artistic reach. Artist Statement: I am inspired by raw emotions, traumas, and intimacy. My pieces display contrast and splashes of colors collaborating to convey a message. I release raw emotion through each stroke of a brush.
