Evan Kuhn is a Milwaukee-based artist originally from the Chicagoland area. His creative body of work centers primarily on realism and takes inspiration from the world around us, whatever form that may take. The pieces he create use the mediums of both drawing and painting in a detailed and observational manner in order to express the various themes that hislife and identity as an artist revolve around.Kuhn's primary media are oil painting, watercolor, graphite drawing, and pen and ink drawing. Stylistically, he is influenced by artists such as August Lamm, Andrew Cadima, and Noah Verrier as well as many realist painters of the late nineteenth century.
