Elizabeth EisensteinZZIEE Ceramics | Yucca Valley, CAElizabeth Eisenstein is a potter and sculptor based in Yucca Valley, California, and the artist behind ZZIEE Ceramics. Working from her home studio on the edge of the Mojave, she creates handmade ceramic pieces that blur the line between functional pottery and sculptural form. Each work is thrown on the wheel and finished by hand, reflecting the textures, shapes, and muted palettes of the desert landscape that surrounds her. With a background in fine art and photography, Elizabeth brings a sharp eye for form and surface to her ceramics. She spent nearly two years as a production potter at MazAmar Art Pottery in nearby Pioneertown, where she refined her technique and deepened her love of the medium. When not in the studio, she’s often out exploring the desert east of Wonder Valley, hiking in Joshua Tree National Park, or watching the sunset from her porch. The Mojave is both her home and her muse—its quiet beauty infuses every piece she makes. She also really likes cats, is a devoted Dodgers fan, enjoys shooting pool, and dreams of one day owning a Datsun 240z.
