Award winning wood turner, Michael Alguire, has a passion for wood and the beautiful pieces of art work he creates. He began wood turning in 2013 with making pens and small wooden ornaments. His passion has grown and his art has flourished to intricate wood turned hollow forms, including bowls, vases and abstract art pieces. He is becoming know for his "basket illusion" pieces -- wood shaped and colored to look like woven baskets.
