A lifetime artist, Melissa Terry Fish has been dabbling with paint and attending art classes for as long as she can remember. Most recently, she retired from a rewarding career after life became mired by loss, grief, and health concerns. These challenges have led to a deep connection with the landscape and the overwhelming beauty of the changing seasons. Embracing time in nature as well as the changing roles and evolving relationships in her sphere, she is working to find a path forward in this new season. "Observing the beauty around me confirms my connection to the God of the universe. My work is about empowering myself with new skills and outlets to connect with people, with God, and with the hope of Heaven." Embracing her evolving roles in life, she is traveling to find new connections with the landscape and now studying art at CSU to advance her craft and challenge her creative thought processes.
