Self taught artist and folk art creator, Jarrod Turner was born and raised here in Columbus, Georgia. After a trip to Howard Finster's Paradise Garden, Turner received a calling to begin making art--or what he calls "stuff"--and since has created over 300 original works. While he has a regular day job, he embraces the weekends finding opportunity to learn and work along side local legendary artist Butch Anthony. Turner has worked on and assisted with projects collaboratively and for Anthony for a few years now. "I love making and creating, but above all I love the 'folk' art community I was called to."
