As a little boy Roland was fascinated by colors and shapes and the possibility to create something with his own mind and hands. As Ihewas in hospital for some time in his early youth he noticed feelings of sadness and loneliness trying to enter his heart: But there also was this feeling to do something about it and he followed this urge to draw his first meaningful own artwork. It was like a guiding voice whispering to him. So he followed it just to reflect my feelings, and at the same time suddenly making it possible to be whole again, making my darker feelings disappear. So is Roland's Recycling Art Concept he developed in 1990. It is basically founded on the principle to process used and found materials nobody wants, or most people would see as unimportant and useless, for creating art and to transform he creations into a better self, looking and feeling brand new. When we look around at the world as it is today, there is so much war and affliction. I know you have been hurt, felt lonely and have been wounded, so that you now have SCARs also, so please let me guide you to participate in my multiverse of artwork, beauty and restoration in creating a new and healed better self!
