Beverly Floyd exhibits and lectures in museums, universities and galleries throughout the U.S. She earned the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst in 1989. The following year she was awarded a two year scholarship for a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Printmaking at Yale University in New Haven, CT which she completed in 1992. Ms. Floyd’s work has been placed in corporate and private collections including McKinsey & Company and Pfizer Pharmaceutical Corporation. She has had many publications including the front cover of Tokyo's Asahi Art Pictorial, New American Paintings Volumes 14 and 26, Open Studio 2012 and a color catalog for her 1995 NYC painting exhibition. Born in Texas in 1949, she is married, has three sons and four grandchildren. She lives with her husband in Connecticut.
