Brandon Felix's work is rooted in the vibrant, complex experience of being Black in New Orleans and deeply inspired by how it has shaped his life. He was born and raised uptown in the 3rd Ward of New Orleans. He likes to make art that speaks to himself as a person, and art that reflects his city. He's self taught and has been drawing his entire life. The mediums he likes to use are pencil (his first love), color pencil, charcoal and acrylic paint. Through these mediums, Felix aims to capture stories that are both personal and collective. Color plays a central role in his practice; bright, dynamic hues move across the canvas to express beauty, resilience, and emotion. Each piece is a celebration of expression and strength, grounded in the cultural rhythms of the community. Felix's work is meant to tell a story, evoke a connection, and honor the legacy of his community. Brandon Felix B. Felix art Summary- Talented artist with over 35 years experience in the arts.
