Born and raised in the vibrant cultural landscape of New Orleans, Louisiana, I’ve been painting since I could first hold a brush. My creative journey began formally with a BFA in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University, which led me to Perdido Key, Florida, where I worked as an art director for tourism and lifestyle publications along the Emerald Coast.After relocating to Southern California, I continued freelancing in the editorial and tourism sectors, but found myself increasingly drawn back to my roots in fine art. Murals began as a passion project for friends and family, eventually leading me to fully transition away from graphic design after a move to Houston, Texas.In Houston, my mural work quickly gained momentum, and when the world slowed down during the COVID pandemic, I took the opportunity to dive deeply into canvas painting. I began attending workshops across the country, learning from artists I admire and pushing myself to grow not only in skill but in my ability to eventually share that knowledge with others.Now, with a brand-new studio space complete, I’m dedicated to creating art full time and opening my doors to students eager to explore their own artistic voice. Whether through large-scale murals or intimate studio classes, my mission is to inspire creativity and connection through paint.
