As an artist, Muffin Bernstein's work engages with contemporary cultural and aesthetic theory, drawing on critical perspectives such as visual culture, intersectional feminism, artificial intelligence, and social and cultural anthropology. Muffin's artistic practice is deeply influenced by my connection to Louisiana’s rich ecosystem, which serves as her primary palette. For over two decades, Muffin has been creating photographic nature collages that weave together sacred geometry, themes of transformation, and the healing power of nature. Muffin's work is fundamentally rooted in the experience of being female and in the resilience of the human spirit.
