Glenn Fischer is a visual artist whose geometric abstract paintings explore how structure can hold emotion - how boundaries, repetition, and line reflect the quiet intricacies of human relationships. Drawing from the visual language of textiles, architecture, and mapping, he uses abstraction to investigate the tension between control and vulnerability. Through layered patterns, curved enclosures, and tactile surfaces, Fischer’s work invites viewers into a space of intimacy, reflection, and care. His paintings are meditations on the systems we create to protect, define, and relate to one another - offering a quiet rhythm that balances precision with softness, and order with imperfection. Lines can protect as much as they divide; patterns can bring comfort while quietly revealing what lies beneath. Fischer’s work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions across the U.S., including the Bronx Museum of the Arts (AIM Biennial). His earlier collage work was featured in the international anthology Cutting Edges: Contemporary Collage (Gestalten). His work is held in corporate and private collections, as well as commissioned public spaces, including the Delta Sky Club in New York City. He holds a BA in Art from Armstrong Atlantic State University and an MA from New York University. He lives and works in the Lower Hudson Valley of New York.
