Raminta S.R. Mint explores the body as both an object and a subject, dissecting its forms through painting and aerosol spray. Using a restrained palette dominated by achromatic tones, Raminta emphasises the significance of red, evoking inner conflict and psychological depth. Her work transforms the human body into a fragmented spectacle—something to be observed, analysed, and interpreted. In series such as Forms of Sensations and Distant Self, Raminta employs a process reminiscent of radiology, revealing layers of transparency and depth with a photographic-like effect. Her practice challenges traditional representations of the body, positioning it as a reflection of contemporary society’s fixation on physicality and identity. An emerging yet active artist, Raminta is currently pursuing an MA at the Vilnius Art Academy Kaunas section (Lithuania) and has participated in over 15 group exhibitions, including museum shows, Alytus biennale, and finalist selections in prestigious competitions like the Young Painter Prize.
